TEDxWDC will be held at THEARC in Congress Heights on March 24th 2012, running from 9:00am to to 5:00pm. The theme of our TEDxWDC event is The Creative City: Creativity, Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Our audience will consist of individuals highly interested in creative ideas and movements here in the Washington D.C. area.

The creative economy for the District has 75,000 direct jobs in six creative clusters, which generate more than $5 billion in income each year. These jobs amount to more than 10 percent of the city’s employment base and they support entrepreneurship, and neighborhood revitalization.
